WCYAA Basketball

WCYAA Basketball offers basketball activities for young players. The program combines practices and games, providing a structured environment for children to engage in the sport.

• Ages: 5–8 years old
• Schedule: Games start Nov 8 for Grades 1-2 and November 22 for 5-6 year old Rookie Division players. Practices and games are combined on Saturdays.
• Price: Early Bird Fee for Grades 1 through 2 is $395. Rookie Division 5 and 6 year olds Early Bird Fee is $295.
• Location: Foothill Community Gym, 2775 Cedro Ln., Walnut Creek, CA

WCYAA has been providing youth sports since 1957 and emphasizes teaching good sportsmanship, team concepts, and the development of individual skills and character. The program's coaches have completed a NAYS basketball coach training program and a Concussion Protocol Course. WCYAA is a recipient of the City of Walnut Creek Pride Award, recognizing its community involvement. Unique features include a no refund after registration policy, guaranteed playtime for every player, and sibling placement on the same team if registered in the same division. Each player receives a jersey and their own age-size basketball, with uniforms provided at no extra charge.
