Walnut Creek Little League offers baseball and softball, including Skills Evaluations, Sandlot Scrimmages, a tryout-based Select program, and a softball orientation for families new to Walnut Creek Little League. The program also provides information on what equipment to get for players as the season begins to ensure they are ready to play.

Since 1963, Walnut Creek Little League has been an anchor of the community as a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide a safe, instructional and fun baseball and softball environment for the children of Walnut Creek. Each year, over 1,000 boys and girls can participate in eleven different divisions of baseball and softball programs. The Peanuts divisions (ages 4 and 5) are where baseball fun begins, with a focus on learning the basics of the game, building friendships, and enjoying time on the field. The Farm divisions (ages 6 and 7) are a step up from Peanuts, where players face coach-pitched balls for the first time as they move into a more dynamic baseball experience. The Rebels Select Summer/Fall Softball Program is a tryout-based Select program that provides young athletes with an opportunity to learn, compete, and grow in an environment that values both athletic development and personal character.
Walnut Creek Little League is chartered under the umbrella of Little League International, Inc., and is part of Little League Western Region, District 4. Walnut Creek Little League operates as an all-volunteer program and relies on the support of families, local businesses, corporate sponsors, and community sponsors.
