Bright Star Montessori Academy

Bright Star Montessori Academy offers interactive hands-on activities that include Science, Computer, Cooking, music, and foreign language classes such as Spanish and Sign language. The program includes a Montessori preschool enrichment program and The Extended Day Care, along with half and full day child care, nutritious breakfast, and two daily snacks. The school has an infant program, toddler program, preschool program, and kindergarten program.

Bright Star Montessori Academy is an authentic Montessori school with fully qualified and dedicated teachers, and all head teachers have a Montessori Certification and many years of experience teaching the Montessori Method. All teachers pass a rigorous screening and fingerprinting process. The school is licensed in California as State Licensed Facility No. 198016418 and 198017169. BSMA has nurtured students for 13 years in the city of Walnut. The environment is described by the school as integrating concrete and abstract learning to develop culturally literate children, and the mission states that the school promotes respect, independence, and enthusiasm for learning. The facility is newly remodeled and includes a beautiful extra large playground for different age groups with an abundance of engaging activities, and there is easy access to the freeway. The program serves infant ages 0–2 years old and children ages 2–6 years old, and the school states that it will do potty training. The school also notes an Ontario sister school called Bright Star Montessori Preschool located in Ontario.
