Established in 1996, RBI Batting Cages has been serving its community for over 22 years. The program is a family owned and operated baseball training facility. Coaching is available in all areas from fielding to batting for all skill levels, with private lessons offered Monday through Friday and additional weekend availability by email inquiry. Tunnel #1 and #2 feature Iron Mike Pitching Machines with self-feeding operation and are described as the most popular baseball and slowpitch tunnels for individuals or teams looking to strictly hit, using dimple baseballs at speeds from 45 mph to 70 mph at a 50-foot distance, with no live pitch or tee allowed and slowpitch softball available in Tunnel #2 only. Tunnels #3 and #4 are 60 feet long and are recommended for tee work or teaching someone new to the sport.
The leadership and coaching team includes Coach Devin, the Nogales High School Varsity Pitching Coach who specializes in arm care, throwing mechanics, and the mental game of pitching; Coach Will, a Walnut High School coach and travel ball coach who specializes in hitting mechanics, fielding, and catching; Coach Edgar, a pitching, hitting, and fielding coach who introduces the game and its skills to beginners and experienced youth; and Coach Ashley, a high school softball coach and travel ball coach who specializes in softball hitting mechanics from youth to high school level. Brandon and Devin are also listed as coaches available for private lessons.
