Walnut AYSO Region 624 offers the AYSO EXTRA Program. The EXTRA program includes 10 games per season, with games usually on Saturdays and sometimes on Sundays, and teams play half of their games in Walnut and half in regions in Greater Los Angeles. Most teams also play between 6 and 8 spring tournaments from January through June, and some EXTRA teams choose to play fall tournaments as well.

Some EXTRA teams may choose to play fall tournaments as well. Tryouts happen once a year.

Walnut AYSO Region 624 is based on the AYSO Six Philosophies of Everyone Plays®, Balanced Teams, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship, Open Registration, and Player Development. AYSO is built on volunteer support from community members who coach, referee, and support their local Regions.
Walnut does not allow pets at Walnut Ranch Park. Division placement will now be determined by School Year rather than birth year for Fall 2026. All EXTRA programs embrace the Six Philosophies of AYSO.
