About
Club West Teen Center offers after-school activities that include crafts, accessories, scrapbooking, science projects, fitness, and use of a game room. The program also includes sports such as hockey, basketball, and baseball, as well as daily tournaments, dances, Fun Nights, Teen Heroes, and a Summer Teen Camp. Participants receive homework assistance, use of computers for homework, and a daily snack during program time.
• Ages: 11–13 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday after school, including extended hours on Wednesdays and minimum days (generally 2:30 p.m.–6:00 p.m., with 1:10 p.m.–6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays)
Club West Teen Center is an after-school teen program for students in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade and has been providing programming in West Sacramento since 1991. It is a City of West Sacramento Parks & Recreation program. The ASES grant is currently funding the Club West after school programs for Elkhorn Elementary, Riverbank Elementary, Stonegate Elementary, and Westmore Oaks Elementary. The program shares updates on Facebook using #clubwestteens and @clubwestteens.
