Since its inception in 1994, Pacific Festival Ballet has worked to create a tradition of civic support through public performances, local outreach, and children’s educational programs. Pacific Festival Ballet is a not-for-profit, semi-professional company that presents performance art to the Greater Conejo Valley and features three major productions each season while preserving classical ballet and creating innovative theater. Through its official outreach program, Ballet Today, schools are invited to experience live performance with Camelot, and Ballet Today offers a professionally staged ballet for student audiences that enriches arts education, supports curriculum connections, and creates cultural exposure for young learners. Pacific Festival Ballet is the resident ballet company at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center, has a partnership with the city of Thousand Oaks and the Bank of America Performing Arts Plaza, and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. The Nutcracker performances promise a 100% chance of snowfall on the audience, and aspiring dancers trained at its official school, California Dance Theatre, have the chance to perform on stage with seasoned professionals as the company entertains audiences of all ages throughout the year.
