Elite Dance and Performing Arts Center offers Dance With Me for newly walking toddlers or children under 3, with both child and care-giver participating in an introduction to music and movement. It also offers Pre-School Classes in Ballet/Tap, Ballet/Jazz, Ballet/Hip-Hop, and Ballet/Tumble; Acrobatics based on the Acrobatic Arts Curriculum; Aerial Arts using silks, hoops, and the chandelier; Ballet Elite with American Ballet Theatre techniques; Pointe for students in ballet 3 or higher; Ballroom with cha-cha, samba, rumba, jive, and salsa; Contemporary; Improvisation for students enrolled in contemporary; and Hip Hop.

Programs

• Dance With Me — newly walking toddler or a child under 3 · This is for both child and care-giver. Designed as an introduction to music and movement.
• Pre-School Classes — 18 months thru 6 years · Available in Ballet/Tap, Ballet/Jazz, Ballet/Hip-Hop, Ballet/Tumble. Classes are 45 minutes to 1 hour and are progressive in age and level.
• Acrobatics — Petite Acro: ages 6-7; Levels 1-5: ages 7+ · We are a certified Acrobatic Arts studio. Our five-level acrobatic program is based on the Acrobatic Arts Curriculum.
• Aerial Arts — Ages 8+ · Aerial Silks classes use several apparatus including silks, hoops, and the chandelier.
• Ballet Elite — Pre-Ballet: ages 6-7 / Premiere Levels 1-4 + Intensive Levels 1-4 (Ages 8-18) · Ballet training with an 8-level curriculum from pre-ballet to pre-professional with American Ballet Theatre techniques.
• Pointe — Students must be in ballet 3 or higher · Pointe work is for more advanced dancers and uses pointe shoes.
• Ballroom — Ages 8+ · High energy-fusion style classes with cha-cha, samba, rumba, jive, and salsa.
• Contemporary — Ages 8+ · Expressive dance combining modern, jazz, lyrical, and classical ballet.
• Improvisation — Ages 8+ Int/Adv · Must be enrolled in contemporary.
• Hip Hop — Mini Hip-Hop: ages 6-8 / Levels 1-5: ages 8+ / Teen Hip-Hop: 12+ · High-energy, high impact hip-hop classes.

About the provider

Elite Dance and Performing Arts Center’s mission is to provide every dancer with an inspiring, challenging, and fun dance education. It is a certified Acrobatic Arts studio, and its community involvement statement says Elite aims to cultivate a passion for dance by offering comprehensive training programs and performances that enrich the lives of its community.

Classes are progressive in age and level. Placement is determined with an annual review. Must be assessed for proper placement and level. Non recital classes are noted for Pre-School Classes and Acrobatics. New students can try premiere level 1 or set up a private assessment to determine class level.
