Kids Day Camp offers fun, adventure, and time outdoors where children can stay active and explore their creativity. The program includes activities that focus on friendship, teamwork, new friendships, and building confidence, with an emphasis on having fun outdoors and making lasting memories.

Caring ASSETs staff and student volunteers from Woodland High School and Pioneer High School lead a variety of engaging activities. Empower Yolo promotes safe, healthy and resilient communities. Empower Yolo has been selected by Assembly Majority Leader Cecilia Aguiar-Curry as the 2025 Nonprofit of the Year for Assembly District 4. Student volunteers from Woodland High School and Pioneer High School lead activities at the Kids Day Camp. The camp is a FREE Kids Day Camp designed for children ages 6–12 in a safe, welcoming environment, and space is limited so families are encouraged to register early. Trained advocates are available 24/7 to provide free crisis intervention, emotional support, advocacy, information and referrals, and Empower Yolo will provide interpretation services at no cost to community members. Celina Alveraz is the Executive Director.
