About

Humane Summer Camp offers a variety of engaging activities for children. Participants will socialize with the shelter’s bunnies, visit with an animal services officer, and create mazes for the shelter’s guinea pigs. They will also make dog treats, learn about reptiles, and interact with kittens. Additionally, campers will learn about positive reinforcement and how to train a dog, as well as gain insights into a vet’s work and tools.

• Ages: 7–12 years old
• Schedule: Monday-Thursday, four-day sessions
• Price: $295-$395 per session

Hopalong Animal Rescue joined Marin Humane in July of 2021, reflecting the program's commitment to community involvement. Scholarships are available through the Katie Hall Memorial fund, and there is an internship opportunity for teens aged 15-18.
