One parent, Shelby, reports that her child’s first sleepaway camp and backpacking experience at Windy Peak included learning challenging outdoor skills along with leadership, collaboration, and communication, and that her child developed self confidence. Another parent, Emily Medress, states that her daughter’s favorite camp activities became stand up paddleboarding, kayaking, and biking, and that during camp she learned to ride a bike without training wheels. Additional parent testimonials describe Avid4 Adventure staff as mature, responsible, and excited to share their passion, and note that their kids were active every day and continued to talk about camp well after it ended.
