Colorado Academy Summer Programs offers Traditional Day Camp and specialty camps such as Learn to Ride a Bike, Nature Games, Soccer Buddies, Sports Sampler (Soccer, Bball, Yoga), Tennis at CA, Cool Noise!, #Swifty, Canvas Art & Artists, Earth Art Explorers, Guitar Camp, and Irish Dance Party. Activities include personalized and group bike instruction, outdoor games like flag tag and water balloons, soccer, basketball, BOOM Yoga, tennis drills and games, making friendship bracelets, painting, planting, and Irish dance basics.

  • Traditional Day Camp — 4 and up · Week 1: June 8–12; Week 2: June 15–19; Week 3: June 22–26; Week 4: June 29–July 2; Week 5: July 6–10; Week 6: July 13–17; Week 7: July 20–24; Week 8: July 27–31
  • Learn to Ride a Bike — K-3 · Morning camp, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. · $450 per week · Campers receive personalized and group instruction.
  • Nature Games — 1-3 · Morning camp, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. · $320 per week · Outdoor summer games including flag tag, water balloons, creative relays, blind walk, and mini-sand castle contest.
  • Soccer Buddies — K-2 · Morning camp, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. · $345 per week · Upbeat coaches, imaginative play, and age-right challenges that build skills, confidence, and friendships.
  • Sports Sampler (Soccer, Bball, Yoga) — 3-5 · Morning camp, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. · $415 per week · Includes soccer, basketball, and BOOM Yoga for mindful movement and breathing.
  • Tennis at CA — 1-8 · 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. · $310 per week · Develop tennis skills with current CA Varsity Tennis players using group instruction, drills, and games.
  • Cool Noise! — 1-4 · 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.; 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
  • #Swifty — 3-6 · Morning camp · $340 per week · Create friendship bracelets, a groovy guitar, Eras Tour-inspired paintings, and a disco ball while listening to favorite music.
  • Canvas Art & Artists — 4-8 · Morning camp · $475 per week · Explore famous artists and experiment with paint, chalk, clay, and more.
  • Earth Art Explorers — K-3 · Morning camp · $475 per week · Outdoor art/STEM projects with planting, painting, investigating, and exploring the great outdoors.
  • Guitar Camp — 5-9 · Morning camp · $415 per week · Build rhythmic chops, technique, strumming abilities, and melodic playing; guitars are provided.
  • Irish Dance Party — K-5 · Morning camp · $415 per week · Introduction to Irish dance basics through choreography, céilí team dances, games, and Irish folk music.

About the provider

Colorado Academy has offered summer activities for Denver metro area youth since 1951. The leadership team includes Jenny Wilczewski, Director of Summer Programs, and Renee Medina, Assistant to the Director of Summer Programs. The program states that its focus is building self confidence and that it wants campers to leave more aware of who they are and what they can become.

Registration closes 10 days before the start of each camp. Within this period, camp changes, cancellations, or bus modifications cannot be processed. Enrollment policies and registration fees are available. Courses fill up quickly.
