About the provider

Colorado Budokan has provided instruction in the Denver Metro area for over 40 years. Its mission is to support traditional Japanese martial arts and to provide instruction in Shotokan Karate and Japanese Martial Arts. The instructors include United States of America National Karate-do Federation Team members, certified referees and judges, National and International Championship medalists, and sports medicine professionals and fitness trainers, and all instructors are CPR and First Aid Certified.

Classes are conducted in a traditional manner and include etiquette, reciting the principles of karate, formal bows, warm ups, basics, kata (forms), and sparring (kumite).
