HERO Kids Sports offers an innovative, non-competitive sports enrichment program where children take part in activities such as Baseball, Basketball, Football, Floor hockey, Gymnastics, Kickball, Lacrosse, Soccer, Track and field, Volleyball, Mindfulness Yoga, Gym Games, and Obstacle Courses. Camps and programs also include arts & crafts, water play, free play, brain games, and playground time. The program focuses on an 11-sport curriculum and the development of gross motor skills such as balancing, running, jumping, throwing, catching, and kicking.

HERO Kids Sports states a mission to introduce sports to children at a young age within an encouraging, inspiring, and fun educational atmosphere, with custom programs that aim to nurture confidence, motivation, and a sense of belonging in every child and to “Inspire the HERO Inside” each participant. The program is described as culturally respectful and inclusive, with a focus on a culturally inclusive, socially emotionally rich environment for all youth and an emphasis on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and Social and Emotional aspects of Learning (SEAL). It uses evidence-based practices with a focus on sports and wellness and describes its approach with the formula: Exercise + Learning Skills + Supportive Coaches = Better Problem Solving, Improved Memory, and Efficient Learning.

HERO Kids Sports offers year-round programs that are curated for all skill and play levels and are committed to promoting Fitness, Nutrition, Friends, and Fun. Programs are customizable and include park classes and indoor sessions, preschool and elementary partnerships, park programs, and indoor gym sports programs. Community involvement includes preschool and elementary partnerships and a section highlighting partners.

The staff includes a Registered Nurse Team, and coaches are described as having high energy and a demonstrated ability to motivate children while creating a fun learning environment. Coaches are also described as FUN, inviting, comedian-like, theatrical, and humorous. The leadership team includes Founder/CEO Mike Simpson (Coach Mike), Director Of Administrative Services Adriana Simpson (Coach Adriana), Senior Head Coach Paige Ruiz (Coach Paige), Vice President of Operations Maura Bird (Coach Mo), Assistant Manager Dominique Hernandez (Coach Dom), Managing Director Mckinzie Ellis (Coach Mckinzie), and the Program Management TEAM HERO.
