CSU Spur Music Lab

CSU Spur Music Lab is a free space for learning and playing music, either alone or as a community. The program includes singing, pianos, guitars, ukuleles, percussion, accordion, and an Open Studio Lab with Mobile Studios for recording music and audio production software. No experience is required, and all musicians of all ages and skill levels are welcome.

• CSU Spur Music Lab — All ages and skill levels are welcome. · 2nd Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• Mini Músicos — Early childhood and young families; ages 8 and under · 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• Practice Lab — 8 years+ · 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• Jam Lab — 9 years+ · 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• Open Studio Lab with Mobile Studios — 8 years and above · 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• Drum Lab — 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• Open Mariachi Jam with CYMP — 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• Voice Lab — 8 years+ · 11:20 a.m. to 1:40 p.m.

About the provider

The CSU Spur Music Lab is led by CSU Music Education students and supervised by licensed Colorado music educators. It also collaborates with local guest performing artists from Take Note Colorado to provide community-responsive music activities. Katrina Hedrick is the Music Lab Coordinator.

FREE event. No experience is required. All musicians of all skills and ages are welcome. Bring your class, friends, and family. It’s free. Individual visits: by personal transportation or with other visiting programs. Group visits: contact [email protected] to help you organize your visit.
