Dance Conservatory of Denver offers Pre-Ballet, Elementary Ballet, Intermediate Ballet and Jazz, Level 1 Ballet, Level 2 Ballet & Pointe, Level 3, Level 4 Ballet & Pointe, Level 5, and Private Lessons. Classes include creative movement, basic ballet technique, stretching, barre work, ballet and jazz, pointe, modern/Horton technique, placement work, and one-on-one 60-minute private dance lessons.
Programs
- Pre-Ballet — Age 3+; 3–4 years · Saturdays · $75 per month · A joyful introduction to movement, music, and creative expression; focuses on creative movement and basic ballet technique.
- Elementary Ballet — Age 5+; 5–6 years · Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays · $85 per month · Focus on ballet technique, including stretching and barre work.
- Intermediate Ballet and Jazz — Age 7+ · Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays · $100 per month · One hour of ballet technique combined with 30 minutes of jazz; includes performance elements.
- Level 1 Ballet — Age 9+ · Twice a week · $235 per month · Develops strength and flexibility at the barre and in the center; pre-pointe class is included on Tuesdays.
- Level 2 Ballet & Pointe — Age 11+ · Mondays and Wednesdays; Wednesdays for Pointe · $235 per month · An hour and a half, twice/week ballet class with increased barre and center work, and includes a pointe class.
- Level 3 — Age 12+ · Tuesdays and Thursdays; Tuesdays for Modern/Horton; Thursdays for Pointe · $310 per month · Includes ballet, pointe, and modern (Horton technique) with ballet class twice/week and modern class on Tuesdays.
- Level 4 Ballet & Pointe — Age 13+ · Mondays and Tuesdays and Thursdays · $350 per month · Designed for students who have completed Level 3 Ballet; 3 classes/week focusing on correct placement, stretching, and strengthening.
- Level 5 — Age 14+ · Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays · $350 per month · Advanced level classes focus on building strong ballet, modern, and pointe technique in a professional and nurturing atmosphere.

About the provider
Dance Conservatory of Denver was established in 2002 and has been in operation for over 20 years. Jennifer Micek is listed as Founder & Artistic Director and as Founder & Director. The mission statement says the program provides thoughtful, classical ballet education that empowers young dancers to grow in skill, confidence, and joy while maintaining the integrity and beauty of the art form. The studio uses traditional, time-tested Cecchetti and Balanchine methods refined through decades of practice, and it includes annual Nutcracker and spring performances.

Non-competition studio. Supportive and non-competitive environment. Pre-Ballet fall classes begin September 8th. Elementary Ballet, Intermediate Ballet and Jazz, and Levels 1-5 also list fall classes beginning September 8th. Near-perfect attendance is expected in Levels 1-3. Students should expect to receive corrections in class and apply them quickly.
