About
Mountain Biking Camp – Erie focuses on mountain biking, trail riding, and basic bike maintenance. Campers spend the week practicing mountain biking skills and traversing terrain in local parks and trails. In order to register, campers must be able to bike confidently without training wheels on a dirt surface.

• Schedule: One-week sessions, Monday–Friday
• Price: One Week Price $740; Erie to Lafayette Shuttle $0 (included); After Care 3:00–5:30 PM $105; Bike Rental $50
The camp runs from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with optional After Care available from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Campers are strongly encouraged to use their own bikes that are tuned, fit them well, and are appropriate for dirt trails, including hand brakes, gears, and wider tires; a rental bike is available for $50 if needed. Campers are grouped by grade range, either 2nd–4th graders or 5th–7th graders, and are transported to authentic local recreation areas, with a free supervised shuttle included. Adventures are customized so campers progress as their comfort and skill level grow, and the program is backed by the Avid4 Adventure Guarantee.
Instructors are described as insatiable outdoors experts who love adventuring and working with kids, are all 18 and older, and have safety and skills training. The leadership team includes Founder David Secunda, who is a former president of the Outdoor Industry Association and a 25-year veteran of the outdoor education industry.
