Avid4 Adventure Day Camps offers a mix of outdoor activities including Survival Skills, navigation, animal tracking, tool making, fire building and safety, hiking, canoeing, mountain biking, kayaking, rock climbing, paddling, stand up paddle board, and biking. Campers use top-of-the-line gear that is specifically sized for kids, and transportation is provided to and from recreation areas. Survival Skills summer camp focuses on the natural world as campers spend a full week exploring and learning essential survival skills to keep them self-reliant and safe in the wilderness.

Avid4 Adventure Day Camps runs one-week sessions from Monday through Friday, with camp hours from 9 AM to 3 PM and extended care available from 8 AM to 5:30 PM. Campers are grouped by grade range, either 2nd–4th graders or 5th–7th graders. Survival Skills Day Camp campers do not need any previous survival or outdoor experience. Programs evolve as campers grow, from age 3 all the way to 17.
Avid4 Instructors are all 18 and older with serious safety and skills training, and they are the number one point of positive feedback from parents of campers. Every activity starts with a discussion about the risks involved, how to prevent them, and how to respond if something goes wrong. Avid4 Adventure teaches campers solid skills, including how to use sound judgment and problem-solving in all aspects of their lives. Avid4 Adventure is a premium camp committed to hiring high-class outdoor educators and paying them a fair wage.
The program is accredited by the American Camp Association, named among Colorado Parent’s Top 5 Sports Camps, and is a Certified B Corp. Avid4 Adventure operates under a Special Use authorization from the National Forest Service and is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Avid4 Adventure is the home of multi-sport adventure and organizes big adventures in beautiful recreation areas. Summer camps are highly acclaimed.
The program is backed by the Avid4 Adventure Guarantee, which promises an authentic outdoor adventure, incredibly well-trained and professional staff, and increased confidence, and if Avid4 Adventure does not meet these promises, the next Avid4 Adventure camp is free.
