Absolute Dance GJ Summer Camps

Absolute Dance Summer Camps include daily dance classes, games, prop-making, crafts, coloring, and other activities. Each camp week ends with a performance at the end of the week. Camps also include time for free play.

Absolute Dance Summer Camps are held at Absolute Dance, which opened in June 2007 under Owner and Artistic Director Theresa Kahl. The studio has over 15,000 square feet of dance and performing arts space, with 8 separate studios, sprung floors, sound systems, locker-style dressing rooms, parent observation windows, waiting areas, and ample customer parking. Absolute Dance describes its faculty as professional, diverse, passionate, and experienced, and notes that students at the studio are technically strong, versatile, independent in thinking, and love to dance. The studio states that students gain confidence, self esteem, leadership skills, a sense of self worth, commitment, and team and independent work habits. The program also notes opportunities to perform with the professional ballet company Colorado West Ballet, and mentions that camps are encouraged to be drop-off and pick-up so children can explore new friends in a school or classroom camp setting. Camps include themes such as “Frozen” Fantasy, Golden Kpop Camp, Princess/Prince Camp, “Wicked-ly” Good Camp, In My Dance Era Camp, Mermaids & Unicorns Camp, and Animal Adventure Camp.
