Absolute Dance

Absolute Dance offers Tots, PreK 1, PreK, Jammin', Ballet/Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap, Contemporary, Ballet, and Weekly Summer Camps. Jammin' includes basic dance steps to upbeat music and isometric exercises to teach rhythm. Ballet/Tap teaches ballet technique and vocabulary, tap fundamentals, and creative movement activities, and Ballet focuses on posture, technique, and grace.

• Jammin' — 4-6 yr olds · Basic dance steps to upbeat music. Isometric exercises of the body help teach rhythm.
• Ballet/ Tap — 5-9 yr olds · Teaches proper ballet technique and vocabulary, as well as tap fundamentals. Includes creative movement activities to support technical training and vocabulary. Combines ballet and tap.
• Jazz — Upbeat, fast paced class using different styles from Broadway to commercialized jazz. Technique is emphasized as well as learning to count music and learn steps and style in choreography.
• Hip-Hop
• Tap
• Contemporary — Teens
• Ballet — Classical ballet technique taught with age appropriate and level curriculum. Focuses on posture, technique, and grace.
• Weekly Summer Camps — 4-11-year-olds · Mon-Thurs 9a-12p · $135–$600

About the provider

Absolute Dance opened in June 2007. Theresa Kahl is the Owner/Artistic Director. The studio says it was created to offer opportunities that are hard to come by in Western Colorado, and that students gain confidence, self esteem, leadership skills, a sense of self worth, commitment, and team/independent work habits.

New student risk-free trial class available from August 10th 2026 to February 1st 2027. For the school year, once registered classes are continuous from August 10th, 2026, to May 22nd, 2027. The initial payment is due at registration. Payments are due on the 15th of every month, billing for the month ahead. If dropping a class, 2-week notice is requested. Refunds are not permitted. Camps are encouraged to drop off and pick up children.
