About

Avid4 Adventure Camps offers a one-week expedition where campers spend their days rock climbing and bouldering, and also take part in white water rafting, camping, paddling, biking, mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, and stand up paddle boarding. Campers break into small climbing teams, explore a range of engaging and challenging routes, and get familiar with climbing equipment such as carabiners, stoppers, camalots, and belay devices while learning anchor setup, reviewing traditional gear placement, identifying natural anchors, setting up new ones, and advancing their knot knowledge. During the session, campers also trade in their climbing shoes for water shoes for a day of rafting class I–III rapids and cook their own meals in the backcountry.
