About

Rosewood Equestrian Center Riding Lessons offers riding lessons in a private equestrian facility that also provides horse training, hay sales, boarding, and clinics for Spring and Fall vaccinations and other routine vet advised treatments. The program operates in a family owned and operated barn with large indoor and outdoor arenas, a round pen, irrigated pasture, spacious outdoor runs and turnouts, and a viewing lounge for families. Boarding space is limited and reserved for students active in the lesson program and/or horses active in the training program, and tours are by appointment only.

Rosewood Equestrian Center Riding Lessons takes place in a facility with heaters above stalls and throughout the barn for colder months, automated LED lights above stalls, a ventilation system and fans throughout the barn, and a security system with cameras throughout the barn. The indoor arena measures 154x70, is well lit and heated, has daily grooming, sure footing, and a sprinkler system, and there are multiple secure tack rooms, multiple cross tie tacking areas, a roomy wash bay with heated water, and a renovated restroom with shower available to boarders. The viewing lounge is air conditioned and heated and includes comfortable couches, a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, oven, and high speed internet.

Throughout the property there are large turnout pens with sturdy fencing, a large 223x106 fenced outdoor arena with views of the Rocky Mountains, a large eight acre pasture behind the barn bordered by a stream and many mature trees, a bridle path along the stream, trails and open space nearby accessible by riding or trailering a short distance, on site trailer parking, and a 50 foot round pen. Boarding options connected to the lesson and training programs include indoor stall boarding with 12x12 indoor radiant heated stalls lined with thick rubber mats and fresh shavings, outdoor run boarding with spacious outdoor runs with shelters and heated water troughs, and pasture boarding with eight acres of shared pasture space, a large shelter, heated water troughs, and unlimited access to hay in covered large bale feeders. The facility also functions as a site of sale for premium family-grown grass/alfalfa mix hay.

The owners have 20+ years of experience in the industry and provide on site staff with years of experience quickly detecting and treating a variety of horse-related conditions. Each staff member has been extensively trained to recognize and respond quickly to the signs of a horse emergency. Rosewood Equestrian Center operates primarily as a schooling and training barn and states a mission of providing a beautiful space and stress-free environment for clients to enjoy their horse time, focusing on premium care and handling many of the necessities and logistics for clients.
