The Pueblo Rangers organization was founded in 1982 and includes more than 160 teams and approximately 1500 players, with boys and girls teams in every age group in Recreational and Competitive Programs. The club’s mission is to provide access to competitive, developmental and recreational soccer programs with multiple age and skill levels, including programs for children with special needs in the Southern Colorado region, and to instill in the players the ideals of fair play and respect for themselves and others. The club has a professional Director of Coaching, licensed coaches, and a Technical Director, and offers programs such as TOPSoccer, which provides a real soccer experience for children who would otherwise not be able to participate in standard soccer programs. The organization funds TOPSoccer along with donations from local businesses and seeks volunteers and sponsors to support this program. The club has purchased 28 acres of land for a new home that will include an administrative office and sports facilities.
