The Pueblo Rangers organization was founded in 1982. The club has a professional Director of Coaching and licensed coaches. The mission of the club is to provide access to competitive, developmental and recreational soccer programs with multiple age and skill levels, including programs for children with special needs in the Southern Colorado region, and to instill in the players the ideals of fair play and respect for themselves and others. The club offers programs for children with special needs through TOPSoccer, which is a nationwide program for children with special needs funded by Pueblo Rangers and donations from local businesses. The organization pioneered the concept of Middle School Soccer for 6th to 8th grade students and offers a High School Recreational Program for players who do not want to travel or commit to the Advanced League. The club states that it hopes to engage other groups with similar interests to help soccer grow in Pueblo at all levels and that it needs volunteers and sponsors for its programs.
