Sangre de Cristo School of Dance offers dance education and dance training for children and teens. The program also includes adult dance classes.

The Sangre de Cristo School of Dance is part of the Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center, which includes six exhibit galleries, a children's museum, a school of dance, a school of arts, and space for meetings, performances, and events. The school was founded as an original part of the Arts Center in 1972, and since 1972 the Arts Center has served 17 counties surrounding Pueblo, Colorado. Course offerings include Early Education, Open Division, School Division, and Artistic Division, and there is a School of Dance Summer Intensive 2026. The program offers dance classes for students 18 and up and provides the option to order class uniforms online, and it lists a School of Dance Scholarship. The Sangre de Cristo Arts Center and Buell Children's Museum are accredited by the American Alliance of Museums.
The mission of the Sangre de Cristo School of Dance states that its primary focus is dance education, including training for pre-professional dancers and a wider education for all those who love dance. The mission also states a commitment to developmentally appropriate, progressive, and sequential curricula in each genre taught; attention to the total development of each student regardless of future aspirations or abilities; professional training for students who want to pursue a performing career; respect for the uniqueness of each student; and the use of current pedagogical knowledge, methods, and techniques from dance medicine, scientific research, and literature to support safe practices.
The leadership team includes Artistic Director Nan Wainwright and Administrative Assistant Oksana Milliken.
