Sangre de Cristo School of Dance is part of the Sangre de Cristo Arts & Conference Center, which includes a school of dance and a school of arts. The program operates within a three-building arts complex that also features six exhibit galleries and an award-winning children's museum.
The Sangre de Cristo Arts & Conference Center began in 1972 and serves 17 counties surrounding Pueblo, Colorado. Its mission is to create artistic, cultural, and educational experiences for everyone. The Sangre de Cristo Arts Center and Buell Children's Museum are accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. The complex has progressively added over 24,000 square feet to its original 65,500 square feet, and the Buell Children’s Museum within the complex offers 7,500 square feet of interactive space.
