About

adidas Tennis Camps focuses on specific tennis skills such as serves, grip, drop-shots, lobs and top spin, court movements, swing mechanics, and both forehand and backhand. Campers take part in stretching and warm-up, on-court training, rules and scoring, match play, match situation drills, and instruction. Some sessions also include optional match play, swimming, fun off-court evening activities, and a teambuilding evening activity.

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Programs run over 4–6 days with options for full or half-day camps, as well as overnight or extended day camps; overnight campers attend for 4–6 days and 3–5 nights.

Coaches at adidas Tennis Camps include former tennis pros, proven college coaches, and current all-star college players. Each director uses a training program aimed at maximum improvement for all campers, and staff provide individual attention to every tennis camper, from beginners to top tournament players. The staff supervise campers for the entire duration of camp and stay in the dormitories with overnight campers. Overnight campers stay in dorm rooms and eat at all-you-can-eat buffet meals. Day and half-day tennis campers bring their own lunch at many locations. Since 2001, eCamps Sports Network has developed over 100,000 young athletes at their camps nationwide. The mission of the adidas Tennis Camps is to provide athletes an opportunity to become better tennis players in a fun, positive atmosphere, with campers learning from experienced coaches and leaving camp with confidence and a passion to enjoy tennis. The camps are open to any and all entrants, and drugs, alcohol, and tobacco products are strictly forbidden and result in immediate dismissal from camp without refund. Camp features include expert tennis training for all ages and abilities, grouping campers by age and ability, a focus on technical skills such as footwork, groundstrokes, serving, volleying, match play strategy, doubles concepts, and tactical skills, and an adidas Tennis Camp T-shirt for campers. Day camps typically provide about 15–25 hours of court time over 3–6 days, many locations offer a half-day option (9:00am–12:00pm) for younger campers ages 5–8, and most overnight locations offer an extended day option from 9:00am to 8:00pm including lunch and dinner. Videotape analysis is available at most tennis sports camps.
