Melodywise School of Music

Melodywise School of Music offers the Homeschool Harmony small-group piano program, private lessons, group music classes, immersive art workshops, and craft camps and workshops. Students can study piano and voice, and take part in arts and crafts projects that include unique, engaging craft activities.

• Ages: 6–14 years old
• Schedule: Homeschool Harmony meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 11 am in a Winter Session running January–March; private lessons are offered Sunday through Thursday, with make-up lessons on Friday.

Melodywise School of Music was founded by musician Julie Zorrilla, who is described as the creative force behind the program and has spent decades immersed in the world of music. The mission of Melodywise is to create safe spaces that nurture confidence, imagination, and a lifelong love for learning through music and the arts. Homeschool Harmony is a small-group, hands-on piano program for homeschool students that blends creative projects with music fundamentals in a collaborative environment, with classes limited to a maximum of 5 students and each class running 75 minutes. Craft camps and workshops at Melodywise feature unique, engaging projects that build creative problem-solving skills. Melodywise was founded to nurture creativity and passion in the heart of the community. One parent from Auburndale, FL, shared that her three children have studied with Ms. Julie for a year, noted that Julie tailors sessions to each child’s personality and sometimes helps with topics beyond piano, and described her as a big blessing to their family.
