Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County Afterschool and Summer Programs offers daily access to activities such as Power Hour, Project Learn, Summer Brain Gain, Money Matters, Diplomas to Degrees, and Career Launch. The program also includes Triple Play, Wanna Play?, Net Smartz, Smart Moves, Passport to Manhood, Youth of the Year, and other life and workforce readiness activities. TraxTalk is a free app the program uses to send instant notifications to all parents and guardians of Club members.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County offers afterschool and summer programs focused on academic success, healthy lifestyles, good character and leadership, and life and workforce readiness. Its mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need it most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County has been impacting the lives of children and teens in Manatee County since 1946, beginning in a small wood frame field house used by major league baseball teams during spring training, and in 1951 a gymnasium was added to the Bradenton Boys Club with support from the Kiwanis Club of Bradenton. The organization notes “80 Years Strong” in its history.
The leadership team includes President/CEO Dawn Stanhope and Chief Operating Officer Jonathan Evans, along with roles such as Chief Development Officer, Director of Advocacy and Strategic Initiatives, Marketing & Communications Director, Director of Human Resources, Finance Director, Development Director of Outcomes and Grants, Volunteer & Community Relations Manager, Data & Compliance Manager and Alumni Relations Coordinator, Office Manager, Prevention Manager, Facilities, Maintenance and Transportation Manager, Organizational Trainer, Human Resources Generalist, multiple Club Directors and Program Managers, a Culinary Instructor, Sports & Recreation Manager, Health & Wellness Manager, Director of Graduation & Workforce Readiness, Graduation and Career Specialist, Workforce Specialist, and Academic Success Manager. Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County partners with school locations including Daughtrey Elementary, Oneco Elementary, Rogers Garden-Bullock Elementary, and Manatee Elementary School, and the Louis and Gloria Flanzer Philanthropic Trust is continuing its Contribution Matching Program through 2026 with Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County.
