SCF Advanced Technology Center Youth Enrichment Programs include activities in STEM, culinary, music, field trips, homeschool classes, PEP classes, coding, and emerging technologies. The program offers hands-on work with 3D printing, laser cutting, virtual reality, robotics, and smart manufacturing technologies, as well as building prototypes and portfolios. Students can also take part in leadership and problem-solving activities, including the Youth Leaders in Information Technology program, and participate in comprehensive bootcamps in areas such as Web Apps with AI, Data Analytics, and Cybersecurity and Cloud Computing.

The leadership team includes instructors such as Daryl Bagley (Python / Microsoft Instructor and IT Director at Revenue Management Solutions), Tiffany Eder (Data Analytics Instructor and Senior Financial Institution Analyst at the US Federal Reserve Board), Melissa Link (HTML/CSS & Unity Instructor and CTE/Graphic Design Teacher at Manatee High School), Jonny Ortiz (AWS Instructor and Full Stack Web Developer at Cloud Realm LLC), Michelle Roberts (CAD Instructor and Engineering Technology Teacher at Dr. Mona Jain Middle School), Charles Routhier (CompTIA Instructor and Cybersecurity Teacher at Bayshore High School), and J.T. The Advanced Technology Center’s stated vision is to bridge the gap between education and the tech industry, and its mission is to empower the community with tools, skills, and confidence to thrive in a digital world. The programs support K–12 students through homeschool, after school, and summer enrichment, and offer in-person and online options for homeschool, PEP students, afterschoolers, and pre-college students. Middle and high school students in these programs earn industry certifications.
SCF Advanced Technology Center Youth Enrichment Programs include industry training and certification programs in areas such as Python, JavaScript, AWS, and CompTIA, as well as micro-credential tech workshops in topics like ChatGPT and AI, Canva, WordPress, Adobe, and digital marketing. Students use tools in the Emerging Technology Lab, described as an Industry 4.0 innovation hub and makerspace, to build prototypes and portfolios. The programs accept scholarships, including Step Up For Students Scholarships for many programs, and accept scholarships for online and in-person courses for training in software development, cybersecurity, data analytics, cloud computing, and UX/UI. The program also offers customizable field trips to SCF Advanced Technology Center labs for hands-on learning for groups of various sizes and provides summer enrichment options for elementary, middle, and high school students.
