For over 50 years, Saint Paul’s has been a leader in private independent school education in Clearwater, Florida, educating students since 1968. The program serves students from 8 weeks through 8th grade and offers a seamless educational journey across those years, with student-to-teacher ratios ranging from 1:3 in the infant program (2–12 months) to 1:14 in middle school (grades 6–8). Saint Paul’s School Programs prioritizes academic, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development through a robust curriculum and an interactive learning environment.

Faculty are recruited nationally and internationally, and each professional is described as an expert in their craft who is educated and passionate about child development. All teachers are equipped with developmental expertise and are described as experts on both the curriculum and how and when to teach the material, with intentionally small class sizes that support individual attention. Performing Arts is taught by resident artists from Ruth Eckerd Hall, and middle school students engage with project-based elective courses in engineering and design fields.

Saint Paul’s is accredited by the Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS) and the National Association for Independent Schools (NAIS). The school describes itself as having independent leadership and governance, high academic standards with the freedom to do what is best for students, and the ability to innovate and adapt quickly. It also describes a globally connected community of passionate educators and engaged families, a strong alumni legacy that provides lifelong connections and opportunities, and a values-driven community that emphasizes meaningful friendships, lasting connections, and unique learning opportunities beyond the classroom, with a lifelong network that extends beyond graduation.

A song from the school’s founding days includes the line: “these are the days when close friends are made; together we've studied, worshiped and played, a strong foundation to help mankind; growing in spirit, in strength and in mind.”
