Providence Children's Academy states that its goal is to provide each student with an exceptional education and that children in the program grow in social, emotional, cognitive, fine and gross motor, and language development. The program follows a philosophy that children learn best through play, and all activities are described as having specific learning goals. Its preschool curriculum incorporates a variety of learning methods to address each child’s specific needs, and it aims to offer a nurturing environment that encourages exploration and developmental growth. All classes follow the Florida Department of Education Standards. The program offers a free VPK program for 4-year-olds in Florida, an After-School Care program with homework assistance, space to play and relax, school pick-ups, and transportation to and from afternoon activities, as well as summer camp programs in a day camp format with weekly themes and daily crafts, games, and outings. Providence Children's Academy notes that it maintains a low child-to-teacher ratio and assesses children three times a year in fall, January, and May, followed by parent-teacher meetings. Teachers are described as trained, highly skilled, educated, experienced, and passionate about the children in their care, and staff are selected and trained to meet a high level of professionalism and educational excellence. The program states beliefs that the school should provide a loving environment that serves as a home away from home, that exposure to age-appropriate activities and socialization ensures children grow to their full potential, and that a strong home and school connection encourages children to become good students and respectful individuals. Parents can view the menu online and choose from 11 substitute lunch options, and children have two snack times each day consisting of fruit. The school uses a security keypad entry and a fingerprint scanner system for check-in and check-out, and webcam viewing is available in all areas of the school for parents via PC or smartphone app.
