Broward Community Schools offers Mommy & Me classes for birth to 36 months, along with adult classes such as Online General Educational Development (GED®), GED® Preparation Classes, English (ESOL) Classes, Community School Classes, Online Classes, Arts and Crafts, Woodworking 1, Clay Studio, and Lap Swimming. The program also lists online GED® attendance Monday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Clay Studio meetings on Wednesday and Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Programs
- Online General Educational Development (GED®) — adult students · Monday-Thursday 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. · Attend online from any location. Tuition waivers are available only through September 15.
- English (ESOL) Classes — adult students · Classes are offered from beginning through advanced levels.
- GED® Preparation Classes — adult students · Prepares students for academic and personal success.
- Community School Classes — In-person community school classes to learn a new skill, find a new hobby and continue lifelong learning.

- Arts and Crafts
- Woodworking 1 — T 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. · This intro to woodworking course teaches skills to become safe and proficient with common wood shop tools.
- Clay Studio — adult students · Wed 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.; Thu 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. · Adult students will be instructed on the four techniques of clay: pinch, slab, coil and wheel throwing.
- Lap Swimming — Mon, Wed 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m.; Tue, Thu 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m.
- Mommy & Me - Newborn (0-6M) — birth to 36 months · TTh 10:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. · An interactive parenting program offering age-appropriate activities, make and takes, musical stimulation using props, story time, and parent discussions.
- Mommy & Me - Senior Tod (18-24M) — birth to 36 months · MW 9:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. · An interactive parenting program offering age-appropriate activities, make and takes, musical stimulation using props, story time, and parent discussions.
- Mommy & Me - Sibling — birth to 36 months · TTh 10:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m.; TTh 9:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m.; T 10:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. · An interactive parenting program offering age-appropriate activities, make and takes, musical stimulation using props, story time, and parent discussions.
