Florida Bible Camp

Florida Bible Camp offers Bible study along with a range of activities including crafting, hiking, tubing, canoeing, swimming, and sports. Campers take part in these activities during four weeks of summer camp.

• Schedule: Florida Bible Camp offers 4 weeks of summer camp for ages eight to 18.

Florida Bible Camp began operation in 1948 and was chartered in 1954. A primary goal of Florida Bible Camp is to provide each child with an opportunity to learn and grow with people who love the Lord and are living daily for Him. A dedicated staff of Christian counselors, recreation and craft leaders, and Bible teachers work together during camp sessions. Over the years, leadership has included directors and board presidents such as Mr. J.P. Prevatt as the first president and director, Dennis Davis as overall director beginning in 1977, and Craig Embry as the current president of the board. PeterJohn and Jessica Fox currently serve as Administrators and Managers for the camp.

Members and congregations of churches of Christ throughout Florida have contributed to the development of Florida Bible Camp by building cabins, a crafts shop, a recreational pavilion, an office, and a dining hall-chapel, as well as providing wiring, equipment, food, and materials. Florida Bible Camp is an equal opportunity and non-discrimination camp.
