Camp Kulaqua offers activities such as a water park, zoo, natural spring, horseback riding, go carts, a climbing wall, a zip line, a lazy river, a wave pool, and a water slide. Since its beginnings in 1953, Kulaqua has celebrated its 60th anniversary of bringing people together. Camp Kulaqua is a Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists sponsored event. Its stated mission is to serve the constituents of the Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists with a camping and retreat facility that sets an atmosphere allowing for the Holy Spirit to touch as many lives as possible, and secondarily to use Camp Kulaqua as an outreach to non-members who can abide by the policies of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the principles of Christianity. The mission also states that this is to be to the honor and glory of God. Kulaqua’s mission includes serving the constituents of the Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and using Camp Kulaqua as an outreach to non-members who can follow these policies and principles.
