Swim Lessons at YMCA of South Florida provide 8 swim lessons for a child. The program is part of the YMCA of South Florida’s life-saving aquatics and water safety and drowning prevention classes, which are among more than 200 programs offered by the organization.

For 100 years, the YMCA of South Florida has been dedicated to building healthy, confident and secure children, families and communities, and has been listening and responding to the community’s most critical social needs for 100 years. The YMCA of South Florida teaches 50,000 water safety and drowning prevention classes annually and has provided a large number of swim lessons to the community. Its mission is to put Judeo-Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. Through the YMCA of South Florida, hundreds of volunteers and donors, leaders and partners are empowering thousands of people in South Florida to be healthy, confident, connected and secure, and the organization is a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity registered in the United States.
