About
5 Tool Training offers sports and high-quality physical training for children. The program uses sports as a platform for its training approach.
• Schedule: Open Monday–Thursday from 12:00pm to 8:00pm, Friday from 12:00pm to 6:30pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am to 4:00pm
The program’s mission is to empower children to become the best version of themselves by using sports and high-quality physical training as a platform to instill essential life skills. The leadership team includes founder Laura Taylor, Coach Brian Pack (Assistant Coach at USC Upstate), Scott Martin (father of Kristin Martin), and Tenesha James (whose daughter participates in the softball bootcamps). Coach Taylor’s playing experience at the Division I level and coaching at all levels is described as unprecedented. Program policies state that refunds are not offered, but families may switch to a different program or apply a credit to their account, with credits valid for one year from the original scheduled program; camps must be rescheduled at least 7 days in advance, lessons and bootcamps at least 24 hours in advance, and birthday parties must be postponed 30 days in advance to receive a credit. The program highlights “The Most Unique Sports Experience in jax” and lists credentials that include being 2016 Atlantic Sun Tournament Champions and a 2016 NCAA Regional Participant.
Testimonials include feedback from Coach Brian Pack, who states that if Coach Taylor calls and says a player is good enough for USC Upstate, he knows that player is legitimate and will go watch her. Scott Martin shares that Five Tool Softball Training is for girls seriously looking to play softball and improve their skills, and that Laura Taylor has worked with his daughter on hitting and catching from travel ball through her time at the Division I softball level at LaSalle University, recommending any softball player at any level to train with Five Tool Softball Training. Tenesha James notes that after moving from out of state, there was nothing like 5 Tool Training where they were from, and that she loves the programs and her daughter could not be happier.
