Owner and instructor Dina Muia-Pasakaluk has a BA in Early Childhood Education and Fine Arts/Dance, a master’s degree in education with a concentration in special education, and over 20 years of experience. Since moving to Florida in 2006, she has opened Just Dance Inc. All instructors have degrees and/or certifications in dance, have trained with Miss Dina on Mindful Dance instruction and lesson planning, and have fingerprints, background checks, and the necessary approval to work with children. Miss Dina is certified through Kidding Around Yoga (KAY) to teach children’s yoga. Lisa received her B.A. in Dance and Communications from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2009. Miss Gina is certified by test to teach Ballet, Jazz, and Acrobatics and completed a four-year program through Dance Master’s of America, testing for certification in 2007; she has judged for the I Love Dance Competition and is a member of the Southern Association of Dance Masters and the Chicago National Association of Dance Masters. Julie is certified in Progressive Ballet Technique and Acrobatic Arts.

The mission of Just Dance Inc. is to create a positive and inclusive dance family where dancers of different abilities can discover their love for dance, with an emphasis on belonging, unity, expression, and a lifelong love of dance while having fun. The program focuses on Mindful Dance that connects breath, creativity, and the elements of Body, Action, Time, Space, and Energy to movement and different dance mediums. Classes are offered for dancers of all levels who want to strengthen technique, learn new moves, and make friends, and teachers are described as kind, caring, and teaching in innovative ways. The program states “Dance for fun, dance for fitness,” and notes that all instructors have fingerprints, background checks, and necessary approval to work with children.

Miss Dina has taught dance in many childcare centers, park and recreation programs, and at events such as the Children’s Festival at Midtown at the Gardens and The Children’s Festival at Roger Dean Stadium. Through the Palm Beach County school district, she was trained in the High Scope Music and Dance program in Michigan in 2007 and 2008, and her choreography has been performed by students at many local events.

One family from PBG shared that their three children have taken classes with Miss Dina and her staff at Just Dance Inc., describing the environment as positive with both fun and structure, exposure to a variety of dance techniques, and weekly classes the children look forward to. Another parent from PBG described how, after sharing her daughter’s disabilities, Miss Dina immediately offered her a spot in a Saturday morning class and expressed that her daughter should have the same opportunity to dance as any other girl her age, and that their family stayed because they love Miss Dina and how she loves the girls and makes it fun for them.
