Focus Performing Arts Studio Camps and Classes

Focus Performing Arts Studio Camps and Classes includes dance, games, obstacle courses, team building exercises, face painting, snacks, and Kona Ice. The camp uses four unique dance studios, each with sprung floors to help prevent injury. Each week of the summer camp has a different theme, and every week includes activities built around that theme.

• Ages: 5–10 years old
• Schedule: 4-week summer camp and 4-week summer class session from 07/06–07/31, with camp running Monday–Friday, 8am–3pm; extended day available until 5pm
• Price: $250/week; extended day for an additional $10/day/dancer; a nonrefundable deposit of $50/week/dancer is due at registration; no registration fees; sibling discount

As it celebrates its 22nd season, Focus Performing Arts Studio states that its mission is to be more than just a place to dance and to make every dancer feel like a star with full attention, encouragement, and fun. Focus Dance Company, connected with the studio, is a national award-winning competitive dance team, and its members travel to regional and national competitions around the state between February and July. Thursdays at camp feature showtime, when dancers show the moves they have been working on all week, captured on video. Fridays are set aside for campers to create their own dances and perform them at an adult daycare one block from the studio, sharing their work with elderly community members.
