Soccer Shots

Soccer Shots is a children’s soccer program where kids play soccer, practice age-appropriate soccer skills, and learn basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting. Sessions include activities such as using feet to control the ball, dribbling, learning the basic rules of the game, and playing fun games and team competitions. Each session also includes songs, fun games, and character-building that highlights a positive character trait such as respect, teamwork, and appreciation, all taking place on Soccer Island, which is described as a safe environment.

• Ages: 18 months–8 years old

Soccer Shots offers three program levels: MINI (Toddler), CLASSIC (Preschool), and PREMIER (School-Age), with an expert-designed, developmentally appropriate curriculum that places emphasis on character development and skill building. The curriculum was created under the guidance of childhood education specialists, professional soccer players, and experienced and licensed soccer coaches, and is taught by fully trained coaches. Every Soccer Shots coach must complete a comprehensive training program to receive certification, is trained in the use of developmentally appropriate techniques, and is routinely evaluated and given ongoing training.

Soccer Shots states its mission as aiming to positively impact children’s lives as the premier Children’s Soccer Experience. Soccer Shots is consistently recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine as the #1 Children’s Fitness Franchise in the U.S. Soccer Shots partners with local childcare centers, preschools, elementary schools, and other organizations, and through partnerships with the U.S. Soccer Foundation, Nike, and other organizations, they aim to impact children and communities across the U.S. and the world. Soccer Shots Franchising, LLC is based in central Pennsylvania, just east of Harrisburg.

Soccer Shots was formed in 1997 and began franchising in 2005, opening its first four franchises in Ohio, Delaware, Florida, and Pennsylvania. From its beginnings, Soccer Shots has grown to over 300 territories across 43 states and 2 Canadian provinces, with over 560,000 enrollments in Soccer Shots programming in 2023. The founding partners are Jeremy Sorzano and Jason Webb, and in May of 2009, Justin Bredeman became the third Soccer Shots partner.
