Jackson County Learning Academy (JACOLA) is a child care program that uses a research-based curriculum. The program operates in a brand new facility with state of the art security and trained, experienced staff.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30am–5:30pm

JACOLA’s mission is to provide a safe and secure environment along with research-based curriculum that meets every child at their learning level. The mission states that the program will ensure growth and school readiness by employing qualified staff, conducting regular progress monitoring, providing student-centered, 21st Century learning experiences, and implementing effective pedagogical practices. The program is committed to hiring, training, and retaining experts in the field of child care.

The leadership team includes Director Amanda Mullins-Eagle, Executive Director Amanda Eagle, Owner/Operator Georgeann Adkison, and Executive Assistant Abbie Festa. JACOLA’s Director, Amanda Mullins-Eagle, has an undergraduate degree in Mathematics Education, a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, and 16 years of classroom experience.

JACOLA is a Gold Seal Designated Provider and holds APPLE Accreditation. The program operates under License #C14JA0008.
