Alliance Française Miami Metro French Classes offers French classes along with cultural events, workshops, community gatherings, and celebrations. The program also includes French Culture Events, the AFMM Book Club, Alliance cAFé, corporate training, private tutoring, and community programs.

The Alliance Française Miami Metro is part of the world’s largest network promoting French language and francophone cultures, and it is a non-profit organization. Its mission is to make French accessible to everyone in Miami and beyond through French classes, cultural events, and community programs. The organization is an official testing center for DELF, DALF, and TEF exams and offers opportunities to earn these certifications.
Teachers at Alliance Française Miami Metro are native or fluent French speakers, certified and described as passionate about sharing their language and culture, and class time emphasizes conversation and practical communication while developing speaking, listening, reading, and writing together. Group and private options are available for all levels and ages, and membership gives access to exclusive offers, cultural events, discounts, and more. The program is described as the heart of French language and Francophone culture in Miami, with vibrant French classes for all ages and levels and year-round cultural events, workshops, community gatherings, and celebrations.
The leadership team includes Executive Director Dominique Scobry and School Coordinator Elisabeth de Gouzel, along with Communication Coordinator Imane, who holds the DAEFLE Promo 2022 (Diplôme d’Aptitude à l’Enseignement du Français Langue Étrangère) from the Alliance Française Paris Île-de-France. The Board of the Alliance Française Miami Metro includes President of the Board Isabelle Leroux; Vice Presidents Russell Kelley and Florence Klein; Treasurer Olivier Sureau; Secretary A. Josh Markus; and Board Members Valérie Bauwens, Patricia Bona, Xavier Capdevielle, Katherine Doble, Pamela Fuertes, Catherine Tissot, and Matt Wyatt. AF Miami Metro is a nonprofit organization that relies on a team of volunteers to help with events, programs, and cultural activities, and it works with corporate, cultural, community, and educational partners.
