Neighborhood Tennis

Neighborhood Tennis offers after school programs, group classes, junior clinics, and a tennis academy, along with privates and group lessons. The program also provides competitive programs, private lessons, summer tennis camps, camps and events, and court reservations for players. Participants have access to a tennis shop, fitness and gym, and 11 tennis courts with pro-grade hard and clay surfaces.

• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: Work hours Monday to Friday from 7 am to sunset, and Saturday and Sunday from 7 am to 2 pm

Neighborhood Tennis states that it is dedicated to providing high-quality tennis programs for players of all ages and skill levels, with a goal of creating a welcoming, supportive environment where every player can learn, improve, and enjoy the game. The coaching staff includes professional coaches, including former pros and certified coaches with years of experience, and the program reports serving 425+ students. The program serves the Coral Gables and Coconut Grove tennis community and operates at two locations in these areas.

Parent feedback includes comments that the tennis director Cristina is thoughtful and cares about the kids’ experience, and that coaches are fun, nice, kind, knowledgeable, patient, and able to individualize learning in a group play environment. Parents also report that the facility is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and that beginners have enjoyed their first tennis lessons and summer tennis camps.
