About

Miami EcoAdventures Nature Camps include activities such as kayaking, canoeing, fishing, biking, archery, and boat cruises. Campers take part in hike and night programming, primitive overnight group camping, and outdoor skills sessions, along with programs focused on birds, birding, and an Arch Creek Park self-guided tour. Additional themed activities include Archaeology Adventure Outreach, Coastal Conservation and Resiliency Outreach, Things with Wings, Scales and Tails, Sea Turtle Adventure, Tequesta Adventure, Touch the Bay Outreach, Nature Tots, and Tales and Trails.

Miami EcoAdventures Nature Camps are part of a broader program that offers naturalist-guided excursions and quality hands-on interpretive programs. The mission of Miami EcoAdventures is to promote and enhance the knowledge, understanding, appreciation and protection of natural resources through these programs. The organization works with public schools, civic organizations, parochial and independent schools, corporations, boy and girl scouts, special events, after school programs, libraries and homeschool groups. Programs can take place at schools or at one of five nature centers, and include year-round park and recreation programs for children, adults and people with disabilities, as well as after-school activities focused on fitness, nutrition, wellness, and developing an appreciation of nature, science and the cultural arts. The leadership team includes Christina White as Director.
