YWCA South Florida Youth Programs include afterschool and teen programs on various school sites and additional programming at partner sites, as well as virtual options. The programs are described as enriching and fun afterschool and summer programs that connect students to the world around them. Children and youth programming staff are able to support families in several languages, including Spanish and Haitian Creole for some offerings. Court Care & KidSpace provides childcare in South Florida courthouses, which is part of the broader youth and family services connected to these programs.

YWCA South Florida’s local programs and services have furthered the YWCA vision since 1914. YWCA South Florida is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. It is described as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. The organization serves Miami-Dade and Broward Counties with programs and services that include economic empowerment, personal and family wellness, early education, youth development, community investment and collective learning, and court childcare services. Programs and services are offered in multiple languages, including Spanish and Haitian Creole for some offerings, and the Community Justice Challenge is offered in Spanish. Circles of Support sessions are available in English and Spanish in Miami Gardens, and Economic Prosperity offerings are available in Spanish. Community partners are described as critical to the success of YWCA South Florida’s programs.
The leadership team includes Kerry-Ann Royes (President & CEO), Veronica Brown (Chief Operating Officer), and Angeline Evans (Chief Impact Officer). The 2024–2025 Board Officers are Stacy-Ann Smith (Chair), Nikki Packer (Vice Chair), Jackie Bravo (Treasurer), and Barbara Martinez (Secretary). The 2024–2025 Directors are Diane Amado-Tate, Glenn Davis, Vania Laguerre, Rosy Lopez, Rodrick Miller, Mildred Riscigno, Ceci Rivas-Gonzalez, Mayela Rojas Sanchez, and Fred Tan. The Emeritus Board includes Adriene McCoy, Kelly-Ann Cartwright, Caroline Iovino, Lisa Shim, Angela Deggs, Vernita Nelson, Honorable Carroll J. Kelly, and Robbie Bell.
