The academy’s mission is to nurture and develop the artistic gift of every student and to offer students an opportunity to grow in a creative, professional and positive atmosphere, teaching music, dance, acting and visual arts in a constructive and encouraging way. Encore’s instructors are professionally trained musicians, dancers, actors and visual artists with college degrees in their profession, and the South Miami location offers music, dance, musical theater and visual arts. The academy describes its educators as a highly enthusiastic group of talented and qualified teachers and notes a positive, caring, supportive, professional and friendly atmosphere, with comprehensive curriculums for both extracurricular learners and those who want to become professional musicians, dancers, actors or visual artists. Students at Encore have the opportunity to participate in multiple competitions, exams and concerts throughout the school year, catered to their individual proficiency level, and registration for 2025–2026 is now open.
