Nara Bollywood Dance Academy offers Bollywood dance classes, Garba classes, Bhangra classes, Kids Bollywood classes, Bharatanatyam dance, Kathak dance, Dandiya Raas, and Bollywood choreography classes. The program also offers professional dancers for hire and premium event entertainment for private events, cultural events, weddings, and parties. Students in the Bollywood choreography classes learn a professional choreography and perform it on stage at local festivals in Miami and Broward, and Kids Bollywood classes are described as a fun kids class full of smiles and movement.

Nara Bollywood Dance Academy is led by Artistic Director and CEO Narayani Maharaj. Narayani has over 25 years of extensive studies in classical Indian Bharatanatyam, Bollywood, Garba and Kathak dances of India and is a disciple of Harija Shivakumar from the Kalakestra School of Dance in Chennai, India, also described as the Kalakshestra School of Dance in Chennai, India. The academy states that it is dedicated to spreading happiness through stunning choreography and a genuine love for the art, and describes its performances as enchanting Bollywood performances that captivate the senses. It notes that its base in Miami, Florida, inspires diverse, enchanting and flavorful performances, and that Narayani’s elegant style is based in classical Bharatanatyam with influences of modern Bollywood technique. Narayani was the Director and Choreographer for the annual Coconut Grove Krishna Fest in association with the Hare Krishna Cultural Center since 2008, and was the Director and Choreographer for “Ratha Yatra Miami” Festival of India in Coconut Grove in 2011. In 2012 Narayani was selected by ABC Network Productions to choreograph a Bollywood piece for the TV show “Dancing with the Stars” Season 15 for Peta Murgatoyd and Gilles Marini, a performance that placed them in first place in the competition. In 2013 Narayani was selected by Bollywood America to be a judge for the National Competition Finals, in 2014 was selected by Dance Ke Deewane to be a judge for their dance competition, and in 2018 was selected by International Indian Icon to be a judge for their dance competition. In 2017 Narayani was selected to choreograph and perform for DJ KSHMR at Ultra Festival in Miami. The academy also notes that it provides professional dancers for hire in Miami, Broward, West Palm Beach, Orlando, Tampa, and South Florida.
