Yada Yada Pottery Kids Summer Camp & Teen Wheel Intensive

Yada Yada Pottery Kids Summer Camp & Teen Wheel Intensive includes Kids Summer Camp weeks themed around the 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's, as well as a Summer Teen Wheel Intensive. At the studio, participants take part in wheel throwing classes at beginner, intermediate, advanced, and all-experience levels, hand-building pottery projects such as yarn baskets, mushroom mugs, wall sconces or pockets, tall owl luminaries, textured square cups, textured bowls, tic tac toe boards, organic cafe dishes, and beads and pendants, and pottery painting using pre-made bisque items with food-safe glazes. The broader studio offerings connected to the program also include bowl making classes, glazing nights, Make it Mondays craft nights, macrame classes, knitting classes, and an Empty Bowls hand-building class.

• Ages: 8–18 years old
• Schedule: Kids Summer Camp runs in 5-day weekly sessions with daily times of either 10am–12:30pm or 1pm–3:30pm, and the Summer Teen Wheel Intensive meets for 6 sessions over two weeks, 3 times a week for 2 hours starting June 10 at 4pm
• Price: Summer Teen Wheel Intensive: $270; Kids Summer Camp themed weeks: $180 per weekly session

The Kids Summer Camp offers four different themed weeks: a 60's week from 6/1–6/5 in the afternoon from 1pm–3:30pm, a 70's week from 6/15–6/19 with both morning (10am–12:30pm) and afternoon (1pm–3:30pm) options, an 80's week from 6/29–7/3 with morning and afternoon options at the same times, and a 90's week from 7/13–7/17 with morning and afternoon options at the same times. The Empty Bowls hand-building class invites participants to learn hand-building techniques while helping create bowls for the Empty Bowls community effort.
