About
Camp WILD takes place at Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens and includes activities such as hand-feeding a giraffe. The program runs during the day and takes place along a paved path that winds nearly a mile past rare and beautiful animals in a historic tropical garden of exotic plants first planted in 1919.

Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens operates as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable institution. It is a nationally accredited zoo, accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, and is accredited as both a zoo and a botanical garden. It is an award-winning charitable 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and an institutional member of the American Association of Zoo Keepers. The zoo’s mission is “Caring for wildlife here and around the world.” The zoo combines conservation and recreation and features habitats with an array of more rarely seen creatures like a giant anteater. The zoo reaches over 428,000 guests a year with its conservation and education mission. As part of its community involvement, the zoo cares for rare flora and fauna here and around the world, including planting over 25,000 trees a year in Africa, Asia, and the Americas. The zoo receives no funding from the City, County, or State.
