Summer Day Camp

Youth Programs at the YMCA of Collier County include options for kids to swim, play sports, and join recreational programs. The program also offers a range of camp programs, including specialty camp programs and day camp programs. Youth can take part in group exercise classes such as cycling, and can play tennis and pickleball as part of the activities.

The YMCA of Collier County’s Youth Programs are part of a nonprofit organization that states its mission as putting Judeo Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. The YMCA of Collier County has been serving Collier County since 1967 at its North Campus, and the Marco Island YMCA South Campus was founded on November 14, 1977. The South Campus includes a Youth & Teen Center, and both campuses include Early Learning Centers with staff who understand child development. The North Campus includes an Outdoor Ability Field, Community Kitchen, and Community Meeting Spaces, while the South Campus includes an Outdoor Airnasium, Community Garden, and a 24-hour Fitness Center. The YMCA of Collier County was a recipient of a surprise grant from the Collier Community Foundation as part of $650,000 awarded to nonprofits, and the organization relies on volunteers and both public and private donors. Cindy Love-Abounader is the President and CEO of the Marco Island YMCA.
