Old McMicky’s Farm Educational Tours & Day Camp is part of Camp Keystone, which is described as Florida’s oldest continuously inhabited camp and was established in 1946. Old McMicky’s Farm opened in 1991, re-opened in 2013, and has been described as a Tampa Bay tradition for over 65 years, with Camp Keystone hosting campers for six decades. The program’s mission is “To Continue the Tradition of Fun, Education and Creating Great Memories for Kids and Families in the Tampa Bay Area, and to Give Back to our Community.”

Old McMicky’s Farm Educational Tours & Day Camp offers guided tours with professional tour guides and a hands-on educational experience showing how life is lived on an American farm, and it is described as an educational farm and day camp teaching about farm animals and farm life, not a petting zoo. Historically, its field trips have served about 30,000 Tampa Bay area children every year, and it also offers field trips and group tours, individual and family outings, kids’ birthday parties, weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, quinceañeras, and special and holiday events.

The program’s community involvement includes the “1000 Kids” program for children facing challenges, child adoption support events, free military weddings, and creating an “amazing day of fun-filled memories” for children and wounded veterans facing challenges. The OMF Foundation is a 501c3, and 100% of the proceeds go to community programs, and Old McMicky’s Farm Community Giving Programs have received local, national, and Congressional recognition. Avalon Building Corporation of Tampa Bay is listed as a proud sponsor of Old McMicky’s Farm.

Old McMicky’s Farm Educational Tours & Day Camp has received multiple awards and recognition, including being voted “BEST FARM” in Tampa Bay by Creative Loafing in 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 Best of the Bay. It received a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition and Congressional Coin for “Outstanding and Invaluable Service to the Community,” was voted BrightHouse Networks/Bay News 9 2015 Viewer’s Choice Hero of the Year, and was an “Angels in Adoption” National Honoree from the Congressional Committee on Adoption.
