Camp Keystone, where Old McMicky’s Farm is located, was established in 1946, and Old McMicky’s Farm opened in 1991 and re-opened in 2013. It is described as a Tampa Bay tradition for over 65 years. The program’s mission is to create fun and bonding family entertainment and celebrations that kids and families will remember for the rest of their lives, to continue the tradition of fun, education and creating great memories for kids and families in the Tampa Bay Area, and to give back to the community. The About page message is signed by Ralph Zuckerman.

Old McMicky’s Farm is described as an educational farm and day camp teaching about farm animals and farm life, with a hands-on educational experience that is not a petting zoo. Unique features include 20 acres of Old Florida landscape wrapping around a 40-acre lake, beautiful lake-front grounds, oak tree-shaded picnic areas with views of Crescent Lake, and newly remodeled wedding venues, including a reception area with many windows overlooking the lake and an option for a s’mores campfire at the end of a wedding event as described in a testimonial.

Old McMicky’s Farm has a mission to give back to the community through the “1000 Kids” program for children facing challenges, child adoption support events, free military weddings, and community programs run by the OMF Foundation. Its community giving programs create an amazing day of fun-filled memories for children and wounded veterans facing challenges and have received local, national, and congressional recognition, including a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition and Congressional Coin for “Outstanding and Invaluable Service to the Community,” being voted BrightHouse Networks/Bay News 9 2015 Viewer’s Choice Hero of the Year, being named an “Angels in Adoption” National Honoree from the Congressional Committee on Adoption, and receiving a Special Commendation for Community Giving from the Hillsborough County Board of Commissioners.
