Championship Martial Arts offers martial arts and self defense training for children and teens. The program takes place at Championship Martial Arts schools and includes instruction in martial arts techniques and self defense skills.
• Ages: 2–19 years old
The program is led by a staff of certified, professional instructors. Instructors receive ongoing training in teaching skills and martial arts techniques, and students receive personal attention and encouragement while progressing at their own pace. Men, women, and children of all ages and backgrounds are students at their schools.
Championship Martial Arts states that its mission is to encourage and motivate students and to provide skills such as confidence, discipline, self-esteem, focus, and physical well being, while reinforcing character development in students of all ages and leading by example. The organization reports having more than 168 locations in over 20 states in the USA and Canada, with more than 22,000 students and one stated goal: “Build champions in life.”
Championship Martial Arts has been a partner and asset for Waterford Elementary School, has performed shows for the student body at Sunrise Elementary School, and has provided the ABCs of Success Program at Lake George Elementary.
