IQ Village

IQ Village offers activities that include art, visual arts, gymnastics, social skills, social studies, Spanish lessons, special programs, and homework assistance. The program uses conversation during lessons and circle time, where children answer open-ended questions, and it also uses educational board games, table work, and the internet along with traditional oral and written communication activities and skills. At all levels, the program works on cognitive skills, social skills, and appropriate habits that are adapted for each age range, and it is not a day care center.

The program’s mission states that the pre-school follows a constructivist approach, sets standards from an early age, and focuses on fostering critical thinking. It is oriented to meet the needs of children from 18 months to 4 years of age and to foster positive behaviors in that age group. The program states that it seeks to build on a good academic foundation so children can begin at an early age to develop skills that will help them start kindergarten. IQ Village notes that it understands the first years of a child’s life are important for learning and that it aims for academic excellence and better development throughout their years of study and life.

Students are divided into small groups by age with highly qualified teachers guiding them through the teaching process. IQ Village is oriented to treat children with respect while also letting them be children. The program highlights themes such as “Back to School at IQVillage: Nurturing Young Minds for a Bright Future” and “Fostering Happy Readers: Nurturing a Love for Learning at IQ Village School.”
